At the weekend, on #SmallBusinessSaturday, Greg Hands MP visited multiple businesses within the constituency to raise support for local businesses within the area.
With the likes of Fulham Road and King’s Road home to a diverse variety of shops ranging from antiques dealers and booksellers to jewellers, gift shops and hairdressers, small businesses are an essential part of Chelsea and Fulham’s neighbourhood and economy.
The MP visited Fulham Road, including both Ta’Mini Lebanese Bakery and Quirky Gadgets.
Ta’Mini Lebanese Bakery was set up just before the very first Lockdown. This small business has managed to get through multiple lockdowns and is now blossoming, being very popular with local residents.
Quirky Gadgets is a great place to do Christmas shopping, compared to more conventional shops as it offers unique products with some amazing ideas.
Commenting, Greg Hands MP said:
“As a regular user of our high streets and having met many local business owners and workers throughout the pandemic, I fully appreciate the resilience and resolve that small businesses have shown during this period.
Given how difficult the last 20 months have been for small businesses, I encourage local residents to go out and support our great local businesses who have a wide variety of products and services to offer.”
