The MP for Chelsea and Fulham, Greg Hands MP, has today announced that he will be hosting a virtual crime public meeting for residents with the Metropolitan Police next month.
In recent weeks, Greg Hands MP has been contacted by residents with growing concerns of crime locally and across London, notably relating to knife crime, antisocial behaviour and pet theft.
The local MP has been dismayed by recent knife crime incidents and met with Superintendent Walsh to press his concerns of knife crime locally in Fulham and welcomed the action being taken by the police to tackle crime.
The virtual public meeting is set to be held on Wednesday 14 July at 6pm, where Greg Hands MP will be joined by Superintendent Walsh from the West Central Borough Command Unit and Tony Devenish AM, the GLA Assembly Member for West Central.
The meeting will give residents of Chelsea and Fulham the chance to raise their questions and concerns directly with representatives from the Metropolitan Police and their GLA Assembly Member who holds the Mayor of London to account.
To register to attend the event, please email [email protected]. Individuals will be asked to include their name, address and postcode, as well as any specific topics they hope to raise at the meeting.
