Member of Parliament for Chelsea & Fulham, Greg Hands, has welcomed the appointment of new Conservative Group Leaders at both local councils.
Following the resignation of the outgoing Leader of the Council, Cllr Nick Paget-Brown, in the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire, the Conservative Group selected Cllr Elizabeth Campbell as their new Group Leader and Leader of the Council. Cllr Campbell represented Redcliffe ward from 2006 to 2010, and Royal Hospital ward since 2010.
The Conservative Group on Hammersmith & Fulham Council has selected Cllr Joe Carlebach of Avonmore and Brook Green ward as the new Group Leader and Leader of the Opposition. Cllr Carlebach was first elected to Hammersmith & Fulham Council in 2010.
Commenting on these new appointments, local Member of Parliament, Greg Hands, said: āIām happy to be able to welcome Cllr Carlebach and Cllr Campbell to their new positions on our local H&F and K&C councils.
