On 19 October 2021, the MP for Chelsea and Fulham and Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, Greg Hands MP, made a statement in the House of Commons on Net Zero Strategy and Heat and Buildings Strategy for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
The Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change spoke about the Government’s strategy to fight climate change and achieve net zero by 2050, which included boosting the energy efficiency of homes in the UK, deploying low-carbon hydrogen production on a commercial scale and increasing the use of low and zero carbon fuels.
