Dear Resident,
I hope you all had a wonderful Jubilee weekend. It was fantastic to celebrate the Jubilee with constituents across Chelsea and Fulham! From Smith Street and Furness Street to the iconic King’s Road, it was great to see so many local residents getting into the Jubilee spirit with magnificent street parties throughout the constituency. I would like to thank all the organisers and hope that everyone had an amazing weekend as Her Majesty The Queen became the first Monarch in British history to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee!
In other news, I have continued the fight against Sadiq Khan’s bus cuts, which impact nearly 80 bus routes across London. I have started a petition opposing the Mayor’s proposals to abolish numbers: 11, N11, 14, 31, 74, N74, C3 and change or reduce numbers: 19, 27, 49, 211, 328, 414, 430. To sign this important petition, please click here.I would also like to continue to encourage local residents to respond to TfL’s consultation on these proposals through clicking here or emailing [email protected]. It would be great if you could copy me in to any responses you send to TfL or notify me via email if you submit a response online. My email address is [email protected] and please include your full address to confirm you are a constituent.
The more support we receive from residents, the harder it will be for the Mayor and TfL to go through with these shocking proposals so please sign my petition and respond to the consultation to help save our local buses!
Kind regards,
Greg HandsThe Rt Hon Greg Hands MP
