Dear Resident,
I hope you are well.
Winter has now most definitely started and I am looking forward to the festive period in the lead up to Christmas.
It has been a very busy week for me with travel to Wales and Poland on Ministerial business. It was great to attend the Board of Trade meeting in Cardiff and my flying visit to Warsaw had a packed schedule, too. You can read more on these visits below.
Locally, there are lots of things happening as well. It’s the 10th anniversary of Small Business Saturday which is always a great opportunity to kick off Christmas shopping in our fantastic local, independent shops.
I met the London Chamber of Commerce, visited the Royal Marsden Hospital and spoke at the AGM of the Milner Street Area Residents Association.
I know that crime and safety is one of the top concerns of residents in Chelsea & Fulham and this week my focus has been on this issue. The Borough Commander came to the constituency twice in one week and there is great news on burglaries with the commitment from the Met Police to attend every reported burglary. I also hosted a Crime Summit for residents in Fulham. More on this below.
Yours,
Greg Hands
The Rt Hon Greg Hands MP
Member of Parliament for Chelsea & Fulham
