- Launched a new initiative to end the five year farce and fully re-open Hammersmith Bridge. He is calling for the full re-opening of Hammersmith Bridge to cars, buses and emergency vehicles. More below!
- Informed constituents of yet another round of Tube Strikes in April and May. Mayor Khan promised zero strike days…
- Greeted morning commuters at Imperial Wharf and West Brompton stations with Conservative GLA candidate Tony Devenish.

- Been very pleased to see the Trade (CPTPP) Bill passed into law this week. Greg has seen this through from being a novel idea in 2017 to Royal Assent in 2024, as the UK’s Minister for Trade Policy
- Had a follow up discussion with Switzerland’s State Secretary for Economic Affairs, Helene Budliger Artieda, after Round 4 of trade talks. The UK and Switzerland are two services superpowers, which is why the UK Government seeks a modern trade deal that plays to both countries’ strengths.
- Travelled to Brussels for trade talks and to give the keynote speech at the Open Trade Project Dinner hosted by the UK Mission to the EU. More on this visit below.
- Met the Chief Executive of CEGM, the business representative organisation of Morocco (CBI equivalent). Morocco is an important supplier of fruit and vegetables to the UK, as well as renewable energy in the future.
- Visited the fantastic RIBA exhibition to explore London’s built environment and Government support for the sector. British architecture is a global success story.
- A great discussion with Tech UK about how best to support the 1000+ UK tech companies they represent. The UK tech sector employs over 1.9 million people and added over £150bn to the economy in 2022.
- Met representatives from the The Law Society at the Department for Business and Trade. Removing trade barriers ensures that the UK legal sector remains internationally competitive.
- Reminded residents to sign his petition against Labour's plans to introduce a tax on parents.
