Dear resident,
I hope you are well!
Did you know that I am the only major party candidate in this General Election who actually lives within the Chelsea & Fulham constituency?
This is why I understand local issues like no other candidate. As one Whittingstall Road resident told me this week: “You have to live the local issues to understand the local issues." I have lived in Fulham for 34 years. I use the buses and the tube - just like every other resident. I am concerned about rising crime. I am annoyed by constant traffic jams. I get it. I get what concerns the people of Chelsea & Fulham.
No matter who’s in power in Westminster, I will always be your local voice, I will always stand up for our values — and I will always get things done for our area. Over the years, I’ve worked with local people to get things done for Chelsea & Fulham: Putting more police officers on our streets, saving our bus routes from being cut and working to tackle the congestion caused by the traffic schemes introduced by the Labour Council in Fulham.
We’re making progress and if you vote to continue that progress, I will be your voice standing up to Labour’s proposed taxes, like the 20% tax on parents who send their children to independent schools. A Labour MP won’t do that. I will be your voice standing up to Sadiq Khan as he continues to ignore rising crime. I will work directly with our local police, raising your concerns at my monthly meeting with the Borough Commander. I will be your voice against the Labour Council in Fulham, fighting any more traffic schemes that cause even more congestion on our roads.
It’s neck-and-neck here in Chelsea & Fulham.
You can have a voice in Parliament standing up for you. But you need to give me your vote so I can fight for you.
I have always put my constituents first over the last 19 years as your MP. I will carry on doing so if you re-elect me on 4 July.
Greg Hands
Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Chelsea & Fulham
P.S. Voting for Labour, Lib Dem or Reform will result in a supermajority for Keir Starmer and no local voice for Chelsea & Fulham in Parliament.
