News Bulletin 628: Council elections today! Don't forget to vote Conservative!

Campaigning

Dear Resident,

I hope you are well.

Council elections are taking place today (Thursday) across both Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea. The importance of your local vote today cannot be overstated; the decisions made by our local councils impact our streets and roads, housing, environment, transport, social services, planning applications, council tax and much more.

For Fulham residents, it is clear that Labour-run Hammersmith & Fulham Council have failed the borough and has allowed Fulham to be completely left behind. Crime continues to rise, fly-tipping and dog-fouling have blighted the streets; not to mention the complete lack of consultation with residents over Fulham traffic, failing to work with the Government and TfL to fix Hammersmith Bridge and not providing adequate services for the council tax which they demand.

Your local Conservative Candidates have a clear plan to make Hammersmith & Fulham a better place to live. Please send a clear message to Labour that they are not working for residents. Please use all of your votes today for your local Conservative Council candidates.

In comparison, the Conservative-run Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has helped to make the borough greener, safer and fairer. The administration aims to continue the great progress it has made by keeping council tax in the lowest 25% of London, investing £100 million in improving air quality, unlocking £15 million investment in high streets and keeping the twice-weekly bin collections.

For Chelsea residents, a vote for your local Conservatives today will ensure that the Council will continue to fight for your local needs and prioritise any issues which need to be solved.

Kind regards,
Greg Hands
