Last week, the MP for Chelsea and Fulham visited local Fulham businesses in the railway arches between Parsons Green and Putney Bridge Tube Stations to celebrate Arch Day 2021.
Greg Hands MP joined representatives from Transport for London to visit a range of businesses including jewellery, car repairs, electric motorbikes, art supplies and more.
This year, Arch Day, supported by the Arch Co., was held on Saturday 3 July. The Arch Day campaign is designed to support and raise awareness of businesses located in railway arches.
During the visit, Greg Hands MP visited award winning Fulham entrepreneur, Dragan Lalović, of My Scooter and Motorcycles. The MP for Chelsea and Fulham enjoyed speaking to Mr Lalović who was a refugee from ex-Yugoslavia 25 years ago and as part of the visit, received a #LoveYourLocalArches award from Transport for London for his motorbike and scooter repair shop just off Munster Road, under the railway arches.
Speaking of the visits, Greg Hands MP commented:
“It was fantastic to see the range of local businesses in the railway arches between Parsons Green and Putney Bridge stations, from art supplies to motorbike repairs, Fulham has lots to offer.”
