News Bulletin 669: UNESCO Bid Launched - Save the Number 11 Bus!

The historic number 11 bus service is under threat - Mayor Khan is pressing on with his plan to chop this vital service and route. Together with Nickie Aiken MP, I have launched a bid to have the number 11 bus and route protected with UNESCO World Heritage status.

I would like to thank everyone who has added their signature to my petition to re-instate the council funding for The Brunswick Club’s teenage provision. The Labour-run Hammersmith & Fulham council have u-turned on their recent announcement to cut all council funding for 11 to 19 year-olds at Fulham’s Brunswick Club and the Hammersmith based Sulgrave Youth Club.

The Labour-run Hammersmith & Fulham Council are ending The Brunswick Club's funding for teenagers. It will no longer receive any financial support from the council for their youth provision for 11 to 19 year-olds. Local teenagers need The Brunswick Club. Help me protect its funding, by signing my petition!

News Bulletin 663: Coronation Street Party News

Our local Councils have now announced the deadlines for Coronation Street Party applications. Applications have to be received by 11 April for the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and by 15 April for the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

The Earl’s Court Development plans are now available. At last, progress is being made - but the plans show buildings as high as 38 storeys. The development of the Earl’s Court site is going to be one of the biggest developments in London and will impact our local area immensely. The huge plot itself is around 40 acres.

News Bulletin 661: Greg appointed Party Chairman

I was delighted that the Prime Minister has asked me to be Chairman of the Conservative Party earlier this week. Therefore I am now back at the Cabinet table after a seven year absence! I joined the Conservative Party in 1986 and I have been an elected representative for my local area for over 20 years. It is an absolute honour to chair it in 2023.

News Bulletin 660: Chelsea Watch Robbers Jailed

This week it was great to receive the news that two men who carried out a shocking and violent watch robbery in Chelsea in November 2021 have been jailed for 6 years and 9 months each. Crime like this is a huge worry for me and residents across the constituency. That is why I am working with our local Met Police officers to tackle this problem.
